Majunga or city of flowers

• Located 530km to the north of Madagascar. Majunga literally means “the city of healing”.  It certainly comes from the typical flowers “Mji Angaya” that give its reputation of “city of flowers”, but also by its dry and hot climate, that is ideal for holidays, and to its rich natural medicinal plants with many uses, as the famous “Mandravasarotra” among others, from which estial oil is extracted. It also the Madagascar showcase of specific fauna and flora.
