Day 01: Arrival Time – Antananarivo

Upon your arrival, meet with our guide who will assist you in completing all the formalities and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in bed and breakfast basis at Le Louvre Hotel & Spa or similar. Hotel details.

Day 02: Antananarivo – Andasibe (154 km)

After breakfast, depart for a visit to the cultural and historical Ambohimanga Royal Palace. The area has been inhabited since 200 BC by the island’s first occupants, the Vazimbas. Continue to Andasibe with stops for photos along the way. Overnight at Vakona Forest Lodge or similar. Hotel details.

Day 03: Andasibe

Early guided visit to Analamazaotra National Park to spot the Indri-Indri and Diademed Sifaka lemurs in their natural habitat. You can hear the distinctive call of the indri early in the morning. Afterward, visit the Vakona Reserve Zoo to see crocodiles, native birds, and other wildlife. Evening: Night walk in the park to spot nocturnal creatures like the Rufous Mouse Lemur. Overnight at Vakona Forest Lodge.

Day 04: Andasibe – Antsirabe (322 km)

After breakfast, drive to Antsirabe. Antsirabe is known for its thermal springs, rich volcanic soil, and scenic landscapes. It is Madagascar’s third-largest city and a key industrial center. Overnight at Hotel Vatolahy in Antsirabe. Hotel details.

Day 05: Antsirabe – Fianarantsoa (240 km)

After breakfast, drive to Fianarantsoa, stopping in Ambositra to visit the Zafimaniry village, known for its unique craftsmanship and architectural style. Fianarantsoa is one of Madagascar’s largest cities and a major commercial hub. Overnight at Zomatel Hotel in Fianarantsoa. Hotel details.

Day 06: Fianarantsoa – Ambalavao – Anja Reserve (56 km)

Visit Ambalavao village and the Anja Reserve, home to the famous ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta). This diurnal lemur is one of Madagascar’s most iconic species. Enjoy a guided walk to spot lemurs and other wildlife. Overnight at Hotel Les Bougainville’s.

Day 07: Ambalavao – Ranomafana (304 km)

Depart for Ranomafana, home to one of Madagascar’s most famous national parks. Along the way, you may visit the « Field of Artemisia. » Relax in the natural hot springs before an evening walk to spot nocturnal creatures. Overnight at Thermal Hotel in Ranomafana. Hotel details.

Day 08: Ranomafana

This morning, explore Ranomafana National Park’s rainforest, home to the Golden Bamboo Lemur and many other endemic species. After a 4-hour visit, return to the hotel for lunch and rest. In the evening, enjoy a guided night walk to observe nocturnal wildlife such as the Greater Dwarf Lemur and Leaf-tailed Geckos. Overnight at Thermal Hotel.

Day 09: Ranomafana – Antsirabe (250 km)

After breakfast, drive back to Antsirabe through the scenic highlands, known for its rice fields and picturesque villages. Upon arrival, relax at your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Vatolahy.

Day 10: Antsirabe – Antananarivo – Departure (168 km)

After breakfast, continue to Antananarivo. Enjoy a city tour to explore the local crafts and daily life. After the tour, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
